SCREENINGS and OTHER SERVICES

VISION
Grades Kindergarten, 1, 3, 6, 8, and 10, and new students to our corporation are screened each year. Local optometrists screen Grades Kindergarten, 1 and 3. Our staff screen other students. We also screen referrals from teachers or parents as needed.

HEIGHTS AND WEIGHTS
All students in elementary grades are screened in the fall and spring by our staff. At Benjamin Rush Middle School the Physical Education teachers weigh and measure students. The nurse then records these on the student's record.
